Pine Tree Shilling Publishing Corporation is an independent publishing house based in Boston, Massachusetts. Our name comes from the first coin struck in colonial America: a small, deliberate act of independence that outlasted the empire that tried to stop it.
We publish in that same spirit, quietly, carefully, and on our own terms. Rather than chase volume, we are building a short list of nonfiction and stories worth reading twice.
As the press grows, we open a small number of slots each year to friends and colleagues with a finished manuscript and a clear point of view. If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.
