In-school Presentations

Let us bring the 18th Century to your school. Our goal is to be a valued asset to your academic program. Please contact us for complete details on any of the programs or teaching aides listed.

“A Visit to the Keeping Room”

Costumed presenters, “at home in the keeping room,” will share with your students a Colonial family’s world. Historical material is based on life styles of mid-18th Century New England.

Reproductions of Colonial household artifacts are displayed and explained in an atmosphere of their original settings.

The presentation revolves around a typical family’s day. The heart of the Colonial home in the convenience of your school.

“A Visit to the Keeping Room” is not a play. It is a one and one-half hour presentation and sharing of information, teaching your students by relating mid-18th Century history to every day life.
