- The Pine Tree Shilling Mission -
The Pine Tree Shilling is your window on life in the American Colonies from 1650 to 1780. History is an on going record of life and events. It is the belief of the editors of this publication that the present can be enriched by knowing the past--the foundation of teaching be it in schools, museums, or the stories one generation passes on to the next. The Pine Tree Shilling is not about battles and wars. It is dedicated to opening a window on the activity and interaction that maintained the societies that were forming the history of the American Colonies.
